--> Version: Eleria Postverta (v1.3)
So, Ladies and Gentlemen; welcome to the presentation of the new Starship, Eleria Postverta!
The Name: The ship's development name was "Codenamed Eleria". It was simply because it must have a name, and because it doesn't have the real name until it's finished, I actually added "codenamed" in the name itself. So, the name Eleria came into the final name, and it is a mixture of names two of my very good friends; the name Postverta is by the Roman Goddess of the past. So the name is like a tribute to all previous versions, it's development, evolution and ripening.
Purpose and aim: The ship is standalone cruiser. It's the type of the ship, where it's captain is also the owner, is your home and your vehicle; is your pride and what you are. Is like your own sportscar, it's not just a tool from point A to point B, you want to enjoy on your ship. It's the type of ship you give name to. It's your beauty.
Technical and visual design: When designing the look and purpose, we had in mind "let's make the most beautiful, the fastest ship in the 'verse. The one that someone would see but won't even think about messing with. Not because of it's heavy canons but because they won't want to destroy that beauty and they would know it can run away any time.."
The ship is designed to be the fastest in the 'verse. It's engine is very exposed for that purpose. The frontal two "wheels" are dark matter processors (splitters), they divide parts into tiny energy-full matter, which folowing reactors use for achieving ultimate speed on the local basis.
On the very front it has the 'commander cabin' or bridge. The frontal part (before the engines) is multi-purpose, but in general it's for the ship's crew and other people with them. The "circles" on bellow are weapons mount, almost any weapon can be attached there, 5 on each side. So, when someone decides to attack you, you can slap the shit out of them, just by turning 90% on them... "want a piece of me, punk?!" On the rear part is small cargo space, for the load which doesn't concern the ship itself.
Markings on the ship:
1.) The Bridge: That's the part where the ship is commanded from. The crew can see all the basic info of what's going on here
2.) Panoramic Windows: Big windows through which you can see the "sky". Some more oftenly used rooms, like dining room, living room etc., where crew hang out are right bellow them.
3.) Weapon mounts: The big mounts, where many diffirent types of weapons can be attached. It's on the both sides, so in total, 10 weapons can be mounted.
4.) "The Heart": Splitters and Reactors (in general, amongst others). This part takes care of ship's moving and ensures energy for the ship.
5.) Loading Ramp: Here's the access to the cargo hold. The rear part of the ship is mostly ment for the cargo, which is ment to be transported from point A to point B. The load, which is ment for ship's manientance and weapons is in the frontal part. The access from the frontal to the rear part is through the hall which goes in the middle of the tube through The Heart.
The Project itself took me about 3 days of modeling in SolidWorks, Rendering in PhotoView (Solidwork's purpose tool), Photoshoping and so on.
Here's the full resolution image, but this-one is of course watermarked (I hope it's not against the rules):[link]
And here's the color edition of the background image, also watermarked:[link]
This work, please, don't abuse it. It took me a lot of time to make, and it would be really rude of you to make your own profit out of it. There are some exceptions maybe, but,... just, be fair, you know what I mean.
